Stress reduction...

.. you're probably thinking 'how can a trip that involves mainly tropical islands and beaches possibly be stressful to begin with?'

LOL

I thought it might be a good idea to research some of the weather patterns where I'm going.. turns out October on the east coast of Southern Thailand is monsoon season.. so I'll be sticking to the west coast thanks very much :)

I was a wee bit stressed that I wouldn't be able to fit it all in to my 4 1/2 week schedule.. now I'm confident that it will all work.. shit I just need to relax.

If anyone has any suggestions.. I'd love to hear them :)

Jordan's Itinerary

On September 21st, I embark on a crazy trip that will take me almost around the world... here's what I'm up to:

21 September: Fly Vancouver to London, 2 days in London

24 September: Fly to Athens , 3 days in Athens

27 September: Ferry to Naxos, 3 days in Naxos

30 September: Ferry to Santorini, 2 days in Santorini

02 October: Fly Santorini to London, 3 more days in London

05 October: Fly London to Singapore

06 October - 04 November: Singapore - Bangkok backpacking overland (all by my lonesome!) through Singapore, Malaysia, Southern Thailand

Perhentian Islands, Malaysia

Penang, Malaysia

Bangkok, Thailand

November 5-26: I will join an organized small-group tour with Gecko's Adventures.. fabulous tour company with which I have travelled twice before in Asia.

They will take from Bangkok, up through Northern Thailand, through Laos, Cambodia, finishing up in Saigon, Vietnam.

I've travelled to Vietnam before, but Saigon was at the beginning of my trip, my first introduction to Vietnam and where I was most jetlagged.. so I'm looking forward to getting a better feel for it this time. I will spend one extra night after my tour finishes.

27 November: Fly back to Singapore, two more nights here

29 November: Fly Singapore to Sydney, spend 2 days in Sydney

01 December: Fly Sydney to Melbourne... I will meet up with my cousin Lindsey and the rest is all up in the air..
